Not many years ago, Melinda found herself depleted by the circumstances of her life; she was physically and mentally exhausted from the debilitating effects of situational depression and anxiety.
After trying Western healing methods including; talk therapy and medication, she found herself being drawn towards a more holistic approach to healing. This led her to numerous years of self-study which included the research and self-experimentation of holistic healing approaches for managing anxiety, depression and codependency. Additionally, her studies and expertise expand into the areas of mindfulness, positive psychology, happiness and law of attraction. During this time of self-study, Melinda experimented with many healing modalities, one of which was Yoga Nidra. In a short time her life began to transform, seemingly effortlessly, before her eyes. Disruptive patterns and habits were replaced with more constructive ones, and positive, lasting, change began to take place. Through her own journey of healing and transformation, she felt called to share this practice, and others, with her students. It is Melinda's passion and purpose to draw upon her experiences and knowledge as she aids individuals in the process of embracing their own journey of healing. With a background in psychology, yoga and meditation, Melinda has successfully molded her interests into a unique experience that is designed to assist individuals on their path of transformation and healing, while bringing about positive changes and improving the quality of their life. |
